Applicants Time-Line

Spring/Summer Junior Year

Eligible students work with SCHS guidance counselor to identify appropriate colleges/universities and take SATs.

Fall Senior Year

Applications submitted to targeted colleges/universities.
Investigate sources and apply for financial aid.

March Senior Year

Application deadline for CWO Scholarship.
SCHS panel submits finalist's list to CWO Foundation.

April Senior Year

CWO Foundation interviews finalists.
Scholarship winner is chosen by the Foundation Board.

After Award

CWO Foundation monitors performance of scholarship winners. If satisfactory, award is renewed annually.
O'Neil scholars return to SCHS to mentor future applicants.
